Chris, I really like your analogy of the baby wanting to learn to walk. Because the babies desire to walk is stronger than his fear of failure, he succeeds. You have a good persepctive on teaching and I think your students will be lucky to have you.
The point about perfection starting with the simplest of tasks... love it. Without that foundation we are just building a house of cards. I like your holistic approach to teaching, well done!
